Dredg

Hey, the other day I was just sitting around in my dorm room wondering what to do, since I had just come to the realization that I was sick of listening to Radiohead... and suddenly my phone rang. It was this girl who was a friend of a friend...

Anyways, she said she was coming over to give me the greatest CD she'd ever bought, by a band called "Dredg" (pronounced Dredge.) I'm thinking, oh great, another piece of crap 'Linkin Park meets Creed meets Dashboard Confessional' band who's pissed off about something but doesn't have the talent to really communicate their pissed-offness.

Hmm... well it would be fair to say that I was wrong. Dredg is (how shall i say this?) good. Really good. The first Cd i've had in a while that wasn't just a collection of radio-friendly singles, it was more like something that resembled...talent? Yes. I would dare call it talent. You cannot listen to just one song on the CD--it has to be the whole thing. If you like Pink Floyd, Thursday, or probably even Radiohead you should check em out. Fun times.
