Ok, this is my first rant so be patient with me, for I am not the professional like the others *giggle*. Recently, I visited a site that was emailed to me.

This is the site. I was outraged...I have never been to a site that totally pissed me off like this one has. Everyone has a right to their opinion and I do believe that, but we all know what they say about opinions!! Anyways I am Wiccan so this is why this site has upset me so much...the things he is saying are just lies. I would really like to know if he checks his sources out, this is so ridiculous...I will probably paste some stuff onto here that he has said, but you can go to the site for more, and create your own opinion. I was brought up to love everyone, I was brought up Southern Baptist but have chosen the Wiccan Path as my belief, that still doesn't change the fact that I was brought up to never judge anyone, but with this guy...I just can't help it.

His first statement: "Wicca & Satanism are *sister* religions that usurp worship away from God and directs it toward the worship of satan." ~This is such a lie...the Wiccan Religion is involved with the God and the Goddess, we are in tune with Nature.

"All the rituals of the Wicca & Satanic religions are symbolic of the female having sex with the devil in the person of her lover, her fornicator"

~ Again another lie...the ritual is of a personal and private form, speaking as a Wiccan, I have never had sex with the devil...mebbe some guys I have been out with were as ugly...but still!!!

"The final solution of Wicca & Satabism is not heaven, not salvation, not joy or peace, for Wicca & Satanism cannot produce these things"

~ How does he know? Has he practiced?

This is what he says is the Wiccan Rede:
"I will ever conceal and never reveal, any arts, parts, or points of the hidden mysteries under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by its roots, and my body buried in the rough sands of the sea where the tide ebbs and flows twenty four hours a day."

~ I have never seen this before...he left out the main thing "An it harm none...do what ye will" Yes we are secretive to an extent..why?? because before we were burned at the stake for what we believe...by whom? The Xtians. I don't think "his God" would be approving of that if he is full of the love that he says he is.

"The witch will dye her hair red for all witches have red hair, symbolic of Isis who was figured in Egypt with red hair and in the red heifer her sacred image (if she does not dye her hair red if it is not red, she is only a pretend witch)."

~ HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA ok that is just hilarious to me...I would like to know where he got this from...I was born with red hair...guess I have been a Witch all along forever and didn't know and well I'M A REAL WITCH YEA!!!!

Now, I felt like emailing him and really giving him a piece of my mind, but why should I add fuel to his fire? Why should I waste my good energy on something as negative as him? I could set him straight on a few things...I wonder if he knows that the "miracles" that Jesus performed were actually "spells" from the Kabbalah? Researchers have come to the conclusion that 18 missing years of Jesus was when he was studying and mastering the Kabbalah?

Anyway for what it's worth, we have our own principle of beliefs...I shall name a few.

We practice rites to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm if life forces marked by the phases of the moon and the seasonal quarters and cross quarters.

We recognize that our intelligence gives us a unique responsibility toward our environment. We seek to live in harmony with nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment to life and consciousness within an evolutionary concept.

We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than ordinary, it is sometimes called "supernatural", but we see it as lying within that which is naturally potential to all.

We conceive of the creative power in the universe as manifesting through polarity as masculine and feminine and that this same creative power lives in all people, and functions through the interaction of the masculine and feminine. We value neither above the other, knowing each to be supportive of the other.

We recognize both outer worlds and inner, or psychological worlds-sometimes known as the "spiritual world", the collective unconscious, the inner planes, etc..and we see in the interaction of these two dimensions the basis for paranorman phenomena and magickal exercises. We neglect neither dimension for the other, seeing both as necessary for our fulfillment.

We do not recognize any authoritarian hierarchy, but do honor those who teach, respect those who share their greater knowledge and wisdom, and acknowledge those who have courageously given themselves in leadership.

We see religion, magick, and wisdom in living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it-a world view and philosophy of life. which we identify as Witchcraft, or the Wiccan way.

Our only animosity toward Christianity, or toward any other religion or philosophy of life, is to the extent that it's institutions have claimed to be "the one true right and only way" and have sought to deny freedom to others and suppress other ways of religious practices and belief.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE CONCEPT OF "ABSOLUTE EVIL", NOR DO WE WORSHIP ANY ENTITY KNOWN AS "SATAN" OR "THE DEVIL" AS DEFINED BY CHRISTIAN TRADITION. WE DO NOT SEEK POWER THROUGH THE SUFFERING OF OTHERS, NOR DO WE ACCEPT THE CONCEPT THAT PERSONAL BENEFITS CAN ONLY BE DERIVED BY DENIAL TO ANOTHER.

I know this is long, but I've never ranted before hehe so mebbe my next one will be a tad bit shorter...as I said I know this man has a right to his opinion but I also have a right to mine...you will never see me shouting on top of a hill, knocking on your door, keeping my foot in the door so you must listen to me...I will only teach those who want to learn, never will I push my religion on anyone, but I WILL state my opinion :) I know there is probably nothing I can do about this man's site, I know I won't be able to go have it shut down, but I can rant about it :) I guess this way instead of putting my energies into him, I will put them here...this way I won't be accused of "hexing" him :P

OH...and the thing about how we make sacrifices...in the old old old days yes this was true, but not in Wicca...this is not the case, we love one another :))))
