So, after talking to Will, he's going to migrating his colo box from FreeBSD to Linux and during the process will be upgrading to PHP5, This will allow me to integrate some of the prebuilt modules for both twitter and flickr integration and the best part, not waste a lot of time reinventing the wheel coding it myself!
So, for the next few weeks or so, it'll likely just be manual updates and a few photoblog posts!
As You all may notice, there is a theme change here. I upgraded the base code from Version 5 of Drupal to the newest Version 6 and ran into some problems with my Aquax and Empire themes.
Rather than rack my brain any further on it, I decided to install one of the "contributed" themes and just modify it to my taste. Other than the banner image, it's all still pretty much stock, but you can be expecting a few changes over the next few days/weeks as I personalize it to my taste.
Anyhow, the reason for this is that I've decided to start using my website again for a myriad of purposes. I'll be integrating some twitter action, so as to get the microblog updates I so regularly do now, as well as integrating with both flickr and my business website (http://conceptofproof.com) to do some photoblogging. I also plan to do trip writeups and synopsis to show some of the paths that I've taken during my travels and photo journeys.
Anyhow, look forward to updates. They may not be as frequent at first, but will become continually more frequent as I get things tightened up with the website itself.
Thanks!
M
