So, after talking to Will, he's going to migrating his colo box from FreeBSD to Linux and during the process will be upgrading to PHP5, This will allow me to integrate some of the prebuilt modules for both twitter and flickr integration and the best part, not waste a lot of time reinventing the wheel coding it myself!
So, for the next few weeks or so, it'll likely just be manual updates and a few photoblog posts!
I had planned to integrate tweets (twitter) into the site, but have run into a snag where an older version of PHP is installed on this box. In the past, when I ran my on server, this would not be a problem at all. But you see, I now host it on a friend's colo server and he hosts many other sites. So, it's looking like an upgrade to PHP5 may not be in the question for a while now.
Maybe this will force me to write some code and do it myself. hmmmm....
Though, to be fair, that's one of the reasons I moved to drupal. I wanted to write more and focus less on code.
