I want to make mixtapes (cds/playlists/etc) again. I've been getting personal requests for them lately, and I think it's time I got back to doing something that I love...

So, here's the deal. I haven't felt much like writing anything of real merit or worth lately (not as far as my blog or alienated are concerned, at least), so that means my Wal-Mart story is on the back-burner, my plans to revisit ideas of old and re-evaluate my stance of them have been put on hold, etc, etc, etc.

I haven't reviewed many albums lately, either. Mike and I have been talking about that, and I have to do some thinking before I decide what I want to do there...but I want to do something! If you look at the title, you can tell what that something is...

MIXES!

I'm pretty well versed in the artform of mix making, and I would very much like to get at it again.

Now, this is where you come in. I need ideas. I need a thread to pull on. I need a starting point.

So, if you will email your idea/thread/starting song, I will make a 60-70 minute mix, personalized for you, drawing from my own music collection. If I get overwhelmed by requests (not likely, but still), I'll have to limit the ones I do to the ones that intrigue me the most, but I'll try to get to all of them.

Get to it, people. I need something to do that isn't looking for a job or playing video games.

On second thought, leave your suggestion as a comment. That will work better. I already get a lot of email, another two or three would kill me. Haha! Burn on me!
